Best for cigar-lovers out there, Did You Say You Have a Cuban One For Me is a real treat. Blow your mind with a version of Cuba Libre made with cigar-infused rum. Prepare yourself for the eccentric combination of flavors in this cocktail by Cafe Brunelli. This is a real labor of love.

Ingredients

½ oz Montecristo Cigar infused rum

1 ½ oz Clément V.S.O.P Rhum Vieux Agricole

½ oz honey liqueur

1 oz pineapple juice

½ oz fresh lemon juice

1 bar spoon smoked pecan wood maple syrup

½ bar spoon charred pineapple bourbon sauce

Pinch of sea salt

Smoked paprika

Frozen cola ice

Steps to Make

Using a sphere ice mold, make frozen cola by directly pouring the cola into the mold and freezing it for 2 hours or more.

Infuse a 2-inch long Montecristo cigar in 8 oz of white rum for 8 hours. For a milder taste, remove the cigar after 2-4 hours.

Smoke paprika by trapping some cigar or other wood smoke in a mason jar with a fitted lid.

Add a tablespoon of paprika into the jar then close the lid tightly. Let sit for 1-2 hours.

In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add the cigar-infused rum, Rhum Agricole, honey liqueur, pineapple juice, lemon juice, maple syrup, charred pineapple bourbon sauce, and sea salt.

Shake well and double strain into a cigar whiskey glass to highlight the cigar aroma and flavor.

Top with a frozen cola sphere and a dusting of smoked paprika.
